REVIEW & D.I.Y.: Beet Root Juice Lip Stain

Hello~ In this  review I will be reviewing the all natural... BEET ROOT JUICE LIP STAIN!:D
What is a lip stain? A lip stain (aka lip tint) tints the colour of your lips without adding that much gloss or shine. Here's my scenario which led me to using this homemade and all-natural product: One day I lost my tinted chapstick and all hope was lost because my lips were out of colour that day. "There's nothing that I can do but go to school looking sickPhotobucket" I thought. But then, I opened the refrigerator and found fresh beet root juice! I heard that beet root juice could not only die hair, but can also be used as a lip tint. And so, I gave it a try with a little olive oil (for moisture) and BAMMMMMM it worked and kinda mimicked my old chapstick too. Then and there I was automatically in LOVE Photobucket

Before Application: Bare/Naked Lips

After Application (Lol to the random moleee..OTL)
The color looks so natural yet it gave a little gloss because of the little application of olive oil. It really depends on how much you apply (if you know what I mean). Like for example: 2+ layers for darker fuschia look and 1 application for that natural look. I've seen this colour a lot on many ulzzangs (pretty Korean net idols).

In this photo I blended up a piece of beet root to show the color. Pretty huh?

Likes:
- The pretty fuschia-like colour
- Last a long time (depends though)
- ALL NATURAL

Dislikes:
- Tastes kinda weird.. Like a corn-like taste

Overall Rating: /5

Thanks for reading! D.I.Y/ Tutorial for this lip stain will be right in the D.I.Y. page of my blog. Hope this helps you guys!

How To: Make Teriyaki Cous Cous Salad (Vegan)

Oh my, blogging is getting soo addicting. This is the second blog today OTL. Well, today I was bored craving for something healthy. I found a box of Cous Cous and it reminded me of when my mom made me Cous Cous salad then I was like," Hmmmm, I can probably make the salad by myself this time, but differently..Q__Q" Then I came up with an idea and made Teriyaki Cous Cous Salad. What is Cous Cous? Cous cous is a type of wheat made from the hard grains left after the milling of flour which is also used in pasta. It derived in North Africa but now we eat it in America. It can also be used as an alternative to rice.

WARNING: This is a time consuming recipe (45 min. - an 1 Hour). But it's worth it! Trust  me. It's also super healthy and vegan for all you vegan/dieting people.

                                                          Doesn't it look delish? ;0;
                                                                  Ingredients:
                                                        - 1-2 Celery Full Sticks
                                - 2 Apples ( In the photo there is one small gala & fuji apple)
                                   - One Box of Cous Cous (Got mine from Trader Joes)
                                                              - Baby Carrot Sticks
Start off by making the cous cous. In a small pot like the one shown above, add 1/3 up of water. Next, add 2 thin slices of butter. Bring the mixture to a sizzle then add half the box of cous cous (or more if you desire). Next, cover the pot with a lid until the cous cous soaks up all the water. PhotobucketWait a bit lol..

After the cous cous is done, taste-test it. Is it soft and chewy? If so, then it's ready to.. BE FLUFFED WITH A FORK!Photobucket Just empty out the cous cous from the pot into a big bowl and start mixting (fluffing) up the cous cous so that it becomes separated and prettyful. Then, leave it aside and move on with making the teriyaki dressing.

                                                               Teriyaki Dressing Ingredients:
- 4 tlbs. Soyaki Sauce (From Trader Joes; You can use another type of teriyaki sauce if you wish)
                                                       - 1/2 tlbs. Soy Sauce
                                                       - 1/2 tlbs. Olive Oil
Just add all the ingredients to the bowl of cous cous and mix clock wise like shown below. Then, set it aside and go cut and wash the carrots, apples, and celery.Photobucket
Mix, mix, mix!
^Cut the carrots like this^

^Cut the celery like this^
I didn't include how to cut the apples because it should be very simple. Just cut the apples into little squares and put all the ingredients into a bowl.
Once you're all done with that, take the bowl and add the mixture into the bowl of cous cous and mix.
                                                 PhotobucketALL DONE! ENJOY! Photobucket

Sorry for the bad quality photos, they were taken by my iPodPhotobucket

How To: Make a Yummy Club Sandwich

Almost every Sunday after church I love going to this café called "Maxim". This place is so awesome because it has not only Chinese food but AMERICAN FOOD also! :D Today I want to talk about the most common dish I order there, the Club Sandwich. Since I'm so familiar with it, I can name EVERYTHING that they put in it. Wanna try? Here's a recipe to make it at home without spending any $$$.
I'm not an expert in cooking or anything but this is a super simple recipe you all will love.

You'll Need:
- 3 Slices of Bread (Preferably whole wheat but in this photo I used white bread.)
- 4 Pieces of cooked Bacon
- Lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- Mayonaise
- 2 Slices of Ham
- Avocado Pieces
- Fried Egg

1) Take the three slices of bread. Then, get a non-stick pan (gosh how I LOVE non-stick pans -o-) and butter. Put about 2-3 thin slices of butter on the pan and let it melt. When you hear that sizzling sound. add the bread in and keep it there until they're golden brown. If you prefer the toaster, then that'll be okay for that crunchy texture.
2) Once your bread is done, prepare the fried egg. Just crack one egg and make it so that it becomes fried. After that, prepare the lettuce, ham, avocado, and tomato.
3) Once everything is prepared, style it the way you want i.e, if you want to mix it up or have it like the one in my photo. Enjoy! Sorry for the bad explanations hehehe -___-" If I had more photos of the process it would've been so so much easier!

Random Post: In-N-Out

This is my first blog post and I would like to talk about the In-N-Out my grandma ordered for me. - 3- Why would I want to talk about it you wonder? Well, it was the first one that I had ever had with DOUBLE THE VEGETABLES. Yup, double onions, double tomatoes, etc.

                                          ^Here's a close up for all ya'll. It's seducing huh..^
I don't know about you but I like to cut my burger in half so that it's less messy to eat teheheh. Well anyways, it was really good. The only bad thing about it is that I ate it at 10:30 PM at night! It's starting to become a habit eating late D:
